Facebook Post from Jennings County High School

Jennings County High School JAG

JCHS JAG and iGrad students had the opportunity to tour the brand new Autumn Trace Assisted Living facility in either a morning or afternoon tour. This tour allowed students to gain better understanding of the diversified careers that are needed to sustain the every day functions ranging from culinary to nursing and even administrative positions.

The kind staff of Autumn Trace shared their stories and they all shared the concept that challenges when paired with resiliency leads to rewarding successes.

Students even got to hear the stories of residents like Lois who detailed the barriers she had to overcome as a 16 year old and the dire importance of an education when finding career success and Mary who shared popcorn, her latest puzzle completion, and ideas on how JCHS students can partner with the facility to make a difference.

The students cannot wait to visit again and look forward to a blossoming partnership at the Autumn Trace Of North Vernon location.
