Linton Community News

It’s beginning to look a lot like…

The most wonderful time of the year is upon us again and residents at Autumn Trace of Greene County have again teamed up with management and staff to deck every hall with cheer.  The festive atmosphere has grown even greater with more and more residents participating and anticipating the many visitors and guests they will welcome during the holiday season.  This year’s decorating is really something you have to see to understand, so swing by when you can.  One of the showcase items is the Christmas Village located on the south side of the main dining room, shown below.

Pie and Canvas Party

Along with several of her friends and neighbors, Mavis Long recently enjoyed a Pie and Canvas party right at home, at Autumn Trace.  This event was provided by Mackenzie Smith, who is an experienced painter and the granddaughter of another Autumn Trace resident, Jean Payne.  Events like this have become extremely popular and are often used as fund raisers as well as entertainment.  Participants enjoy refreshments while being guided, step-by-step, through a specific painting by an experienced painter.  We look forward to doing it again in the spring of 2018!
